Since 1926, Northeast Catholic High School has been educating students according to Catholic, Christian tradition, preparing them to become Salesian gentleman ready for the world that lies ahead. Each young man is offered the opportunity to express himself and strive for excellence in all his endeavors. Firmly rooted in the vision of St. Francis de Sales, Northeast Catholic creates an environment in which students. Learn and practice Gospel values: Deepen character, demonstrating both Salesian virtue and responsible citizenship; Identify and develop personal gifts and talents in both curricular and co-curricular activities; Employ critical thinking and higher-order skills; Acquire and use appropriate decision-making skills, internalizing the connections between choices and consequences; Practice self-direction and self-discipline; Address and resolve conflicts in constructive ways; Appreciate cultural diversity; Demonstrate social awareness by serving the identified needs of the school and the larger community.
MISSION STATEMENT
"Grounded in the tradition of our Christian Catholic faith and holding to the teachings of our patron, St. Francis DeSales, Northeast Catholic High School for Boys, an urban high school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, educates young men to recognize and to develop their God-given intellectual, spiritual, and personal gifts. Through a sacramental life, founded in an abiding
relationship with Jesus Christ, the school calls young men to serve their Church and their community as Salesian Gentlemen."
